So... Our posters for Day of Silence were taken down. Not by the administration mind you, but it's suspected that they were taken by some students as a mean prank. Our club president went to the administration and asked if they had been approved to be taken down and was told that the removal was unauthorized. So, my question is, why all the hate? What's wrong with people being who they are and loving who they love? Why does it bother people that others are born different? What's wrong with deviation from the norm? Please, even if you don't agree with the cause, don't be violent and hurt others who do.

We had the same problem here at Wyandotte except it was not the kids that were doing it but the Janitorial Staff. The kids at Wyandotte were fine with the posters and didn't touch them at all.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think that people here would be more open minded because we have such a variety of people here, but no.
